Sendmail dsn=4.0.0, stat=Deferred: Invalid argument error

Hello All,

I have a fedora core 10 server running sendmail and whenever I try to send an email out either via sendmail or a php webpage I get the following entry in the /var/log/maillog file.

mailer=relay, pri=30012, relay=[127.0.0.1] [127.0.0.1], dsn=4.0.0, stat=Deferred: Invalid argument

Any assistance on fixing this issue is very appreciated.

do you have a bit more in the log you supplied regarding a specific message? can you send email from the command line using mail -v or sendmail -v?
do you have a static IP and rDNS?
if you can send email from the command line in verbose mode, paste the output here...or rather, attempt to send an email from cmd line in verbose mode, and paste the output here anyway.
