Question Sendmail build - infinite loop??

I am trying to upgrade Sendmail 8.12.8-4 to 8.12.10 (latest release) and compile from source to allow for a milter (MIMEdefang). When I issue the "sh Build" command, everything looks to be compiling normally. I left to let it compile overnight (kicked it off about 4pm) and when I got back in the morning, the compile was still running and looking normal (no visible ***error lines etc). It looks like it is cycling through the subdirectories and compiling them over and over again, but I can't be sure. Anyone have a clue here? This is being done on Redhat 9.0, with all packages updated, on kernel 2.4.20-8. Thanks.
