Sendmail && MS Exchange

Good day all,

Having a little trouble getting a box configd.
This is what I've got:

1st box - APOC
APOC is a linux box which runs apache, samba, some firewalls, file srv, sendmail, mysql, etc.
This box resides at work connected to a network but isn't actually on the domain.

I need to configure sendmail on APOC to be able to, well, send mail out to other company peeps as well as web based "external" e-mail.

So, what would be the quickest route to get APOC to the point of when I want to send a message to a few recipients, it will shoot it to the main exchange server, and all is well?

T.I.A.
