Sending user-name attribute in freeradius access-accept reply

We have a policy server that is being used between our NAS for wireless access and our radius server running on Centos 5.5. Radius uses a backend mysql database. Is there a way to send the user-name attribute (type 1) in the access-accept message back to the NAS? Along with the attributes present in the the radreply table?
Right now this attribute exists in the access-request sent from the NAS, but the policy server needs to also see it in the access-accept to apply the policy to the correctly authenticated user.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Patty
