sending mail with mozilla
 

when i try to send a mail with mozilla i got this error

an error accured while sending mail. the mail server responded 5.7.1 [email adress]

relaying denied

please check the messege recipients and try again.

i contact my hosting company they said everything is fine this happens to every adress i try and using their web mail seervice i can send mail.:cry:

i also have that problem. I'm using RH8. Does someone knows answer for this???? I still have to go to windows to send my mail.

An SMTP server generaly sends this answer when a sender is not in it's authorized list. Another problem is when your IP has been used to spam, and is known by the recipient's SMTP server as dangerous. So this latter refuses to relay your mail.

Tnx, but I think that problem is something else. If the problem is what you said, then I couldn't send my mail using netscape 7.01 in windows, but I can. I can send my mail using that smtp server in windows, i only can't send mail using linux RH8 (any mail client).
I really don't have any idea what the problem is. I configured my mozzilla the same as netscape in windows.
