Sending key combination over PuTTY Telnet session

Hi,

OpenSuse 13.1, KDE 4.11.5

I'm telneting (using PuTTY) to a device, and to enable privileged access on that device I need to send the key combination:

ctrl-alt-esc-k

I tried this by just typing it and firstly fell foul of ctrl-alt-esc being a KDE shortcut for kill window! I deleted this kde shortcut, but still it doesn't seem to be working for me. What do I need to do to send this key combo over the session?

Thanks

I might be wrong but I don't think esc is a modifier key such as shift, alt or control. So I would imagine that a combination of esc-[whatever key] should fail.

Hmmm, it's just strange as this works on a Windows PC
