Self-Solved: Trying to connect to a remote Deluge session

EDIT:!!! Hahaha, just like every time, as soon as I give up on solving it myself and ask for help, the solution pops in my head. I forgot to add an exception in the desktop's personal firewall. Keep forgetting that thing is there.

Ok, so long story short, I'm currently away from my main desktop/internet connection. All I have are my laptop with a small hard drive and a slower internet connection with a low monthly limit.

I'm trying to remotely connect to my desktop (I have SSH working fine and can tunnel X apps through it, but it's quite slow) so I can add and control torrents on my main machine.

Now, I'm following the instructions on http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/UserGuide/ThinClient

and have Deluged set up, and can connect locally (I SSH in and can access it via that machine's deluge-console). BUT when trying to connect to it from my laptop's deluge client it's not detecting the daemon.

So, first thought? My home's router isn't allowing the connection on that port. So, I log into that router (using an "ssh -X" session of chromium) and add the appropriate port into my router's list and set it to the right computer IP. I've done that a half dozen times before (to allow ssh and to allow me remote access to my Calibre library) with no issues.

Also, when using deluge-console, is there a way to view the entire list of config options, or is there an online listing? Any time I put in "Config" and tab for options, it lists everything, but they scroll by so fast I only get the last page of config options.
