Selecting text in Kompare.

Kompare - why must you hurt me so? You compare files, and show pretty decent details about the changes. That's all good and well, but...

How in the fuck am I supposed to use it without being able to select the line that is different (from the original and destination). What if I need to compare the differences between two folders to re-edit a third folder with those changes? In fact, that's exactly what I am trying to do. I have two folders - one with modified code, and I need to transport said code into a new version to upgrade the script (vBulletin in this case). Without being able to select the text - I am screwed.

I am sure the answer is simple and easy, but I am not seeing it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I know this is probably simple. Does anyone know of a way to allow this or is there an alternative that allows this?
