segmentation fault in openoffice

hi,

till few weeks back, the openoffice in my PC (redhat linux 9.0) was working and suddenly it stopped working.

when i try to open "openoffice", it gives an error "Segmentation fault" and exits.

i removed the openoffice installation and re-installed it again.

but i get the same error message.

any useful help/suggestion is welcome.

thanks in advance,

majalee

try first su to root then run the openoffice applications like below.
open a terminal windows, from there:

su (su to root)
