i'm porting a windows program to run under linux using wine, it is a big program consists of many dlls of large size (4-20 MB), when i try to run the program after compiling it using wine i faced Segmentation fault (core dump) before any execution.
i use the following tools:
c and c++
wine version: wine-20030709-1rh9winehq
Platform: Redhat Linux 9, Conectiva Linux
PC Configuration: Celeron 2GHZ, 128 DDRAM

can you tell what program it is you are trying to run. sometimes these faults are program specific so that may help someone answer your question. also one more thing. are you using that rh9 rpm in connectiva?

first i don't use rdht9 for conectiva, i use a compatible conectiva version
second it s not a normal program, i mean it was develop for a company and not to be publicly used so the name is not important..
just i want to know what is the reason behind Signal 11 (segmentation fault) i tried to use DDD debugger but no more information (only signal 11 was sent to ur program)

i don't know what hell r u talking about??? if u know anything about wine u wouldn't say what u said. first wine has a package called winelib to compile the source code besides using winemaker and make are two commonly used wine commands to build the source code (which is the final stage after compiling it)
plz hulkt, i need help not to make it like a joke
