Segmentation fault


I have Slackware 10.1 with kernel 2.4.29 installed on my server ..

i was playing with pkgtool and i`ve lnstalled packages from directory /l/ ... but when i finished the installation, i`ve written command ls and the error Segmentation fault showd up ... whats up with that??

how can i fix it?

becouse i can`t "untar" anything and if i want to use pkgtool, it shows an error:

/sbin/pkgtool: line 417: 1635 Segmentation fault ls $PACKAGE_DIR/*.tgz >/dev/null 2>/dev/null

Please help me

ok ... i`ve fixed the problem

i just installed some glib* with command installpkg [packagename].tgz ...

.. and it works fine now kids ... don`t play with pkgtool if you don`t know what you are doing
