Seeding with KTorrent.

KTorrent 2.1.4.
Hi:
to KTorrent users: I have found, in my hard disk, a file I downloaded some time ago along with its torrent file. I now feel I have to extend the benefit of having got the file to other people as well. So, I want to seed it. In KDE, I see I have KTorrent. Unfortunately, when I open the torrent in KTorrent, KTorrent thinks I want to download. How do I tell KTorrent I want to seed (KTorrent's manual is not available in my system)? Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I've found how: when I open the torrent, it asks me what the files I want to download are. I say 'none'. And then it puts itself to seed. But now there is a new difficulty: in the Trackers tab it says: Tracker status: could not connect to host <HOST REMOVED>.
In the same tab, and in the 'Tracker' window, there is only one item, namely '<HOST REMOVED>'.
When I press 'Update tracker' (with the tracker selected) nothing happens. Is there anything I can do?
