Secure messaging using one single email server

I need to implement secure email with my clients.
Most of them are unable to learn how to encrypt/decrypt regular emails using asymmetric keys.

So, I'm thinking of setting up one server offering a service that would look like webmail to them and me. However, it would not use relays or any other server. All messaging would be within that single computer, through a secure connection with all parties involved.

If this is a sensible idea (it may not be), could you suggest the software to use and the information to read to accomplish this?

Thanks for reading this.

Try ssh tunnelling eg http://www.slac.com/~mpilone/projects/kde/kmailssh/ or http://www.ssh.com/support/documenta...Explained.html etc.
Probably simpler than setting up a VPN.
