Search server (with indexing capabilities) with the authenticable web interface???

Search server (with indexing capabilities) with the authenticable web interface and full functional search capabilities over the web interface , which means that its important that only authenticated users could access to the web interface and to the search functions. Which means that user could search the local storage over the web!

Something similar to the beagle/peagle (which has public access to the web interface which means that you would need advanced level of knowledge in building security pylons modulus for securing the web access).

Which means that peagle/beagle is not the right choice.
