Seamonkey/Mozilla without flashplayer: stopping the popupwindow

hi there,

i removed the flashplayer from my plugins-directory, to stop
the horrible moving ad.'s from some newssites i read.
now everytime i open such a page, i get a popup "asking" to click "ok"
to download flashplayer.
it's much better than the moving ad.'s but still...

does anyone know how to stop that popup window ?

Why not just install the NoScript extension? Or Flashblock?

It blocks flash, java and a bunch of other crap on site you dont trust. Works in Seamonkey and Firefox.

ah...that sounds like better solutions.
i'm gonna try both.
Thanks a lot.
