Seamonkey's tab has no "x" to close

Seamonkey's tab has no "x" to close,
In firefox, every tab has a "x" on the far right for you to close the tab, but this does not exist in Seamonkey, you got to right-click and choose close.

I search the Option/Preference but find nothing to enable the "x",
any idea?

Hi TigerLinux, There should be a very small "x" to the far right of the tabs toolbar that will close the current tab.

Good luck. ;-)

I see, why it does not appear right on the individual tab?

r-click the tab and use the drop-down menu

I'm not sure, probably a good question for the development team.

Good luck. ;-)

seeing as the "open new tab" is on the far left and the "close open tab" is on the far right

most browsers have the "x" on each tab.

John VV 06-27-2011 11:32 PM

The individual close button for each tab is a very recent invention from only several years ago. The right question to do, if you want to make any question at all, is why seamonkey is not following the trend.

How to add Seamonkey launchpad so that we can have the latest version?

perhaps fixing this might help
