Helloo.
I have a problem!
I want to play my sega cd games on my mandrake linux 9.2, but the program i was going to use (Gens) will not install! Actually, it probably would install but i can't get that far.. I have to type ./configure before i can make anything, and everytime i ./configure i get:
checking for sdl-config... no
checking for SDL - version >= 1.1.3... no
*** The sdl-config script installed by SDL could not be found
*** If SDL was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
*** your path, or set the SDL_CONFIG environment variable to the
*** full path to sdl-config.
configure: error: *** SDL version 1.1.3 not found!
now what i think is strange is that my distribution already installed a copy of libSDL1.2 and i manually installed the SDL1.1.3 RPM i found on the internet (becuase that was the version reported working with gens in thier readme..), but it still says the same thing with ./configure.
Any help to fix this would be appreciated alot , or information on something better for Sega CD emulations on mandrake linux 9.2...................................
