scroll bar

I often have multiple Firefox browsers opened up simultaneously. I position the 2 windows side by side, to do multiple things at once. The windows keep losing the horizontal scroll bars. Is there a fix for this?

I don't know of a fix for it, but I can offer these thoughts on the problem.

1. Are you using a wide format lcd display? If not, that might take care of the problem.

2. Depending on what it is you do when you do multiple things at once, can you stack the instances one over the other instead of side by side and still do your work?

3. Can you afford a dual-head display, and run one instance of Firefox on each screen?

At the moment, I am using a laptop so only one monitor. I have someone swapping components so that he and I will each have a working desktop. Mine will have the dual monitor setup so I will not have the problem, at least not to the same degree especially given that the smaller of those 2 monitors is larger than the laptop monitor.
As for what I do with the multiple windows, there are some things that I can simply juggle & can have open in multiple tabs within the same browser, others that need to be on top at the same time. I am usually doing multple things at once like watching a video, chatting with someone on Facebook and/or working on something in a word processor and/or spreadsheet, and or looking for JPG files to download.
