screen size (not resolution)
Ok so i installed redhat 7.2 onto my laptop (toshiba sat pro 6000) and have the following issue.
As soon as linux begins to load, it is "windowed in screen" That is to say that it is a box about only 75% of physical screen... I can change the resolution of x to anything that my card/monitor support and it will display fine, just not fill the screen... Any thoughts or suggestions? |
what kind of laptop do you have ? I use to have a dell so whenever i booted into X i had to do a simple key stroke, couldn't tell you exactly what keys they were.. something alt with another key near the F1-7 keys to stretch out my display.

The stretch option is in BIOS.
Or try to screw your screen with xvidtune. |
