Im having a problem with Redhat 9.

I can only view a 1024x768 portion of the screen on the monitor at once yet the resolution is 1152x864:

i have to scroll around the screen, how do i fix this?

Either run redhat-config-xfree86 or edit the file /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file.
