Schematic, block digram draw to export to eps or other for Latex (TeTeX) tool(s)?

Hi everyone,

This is my first post here, let me cheer up to all of you. And please help me out.
I have been looking for a tool/application that help me to draw simple schematic/block diagram (just like
M$ Visio, Kivio) Or the way to produce block diagram (*.eps) for my Latex. Before posting this question, I have reached to Kivio, Dia. Actualy I have not tried them yet. With Kivio, since It seems that it goes with KOffice, that maybe a huge guy for my small PC. In addition, I get used to use Latex as my editor and word-processor, I donot want to add up KOffice. With Dia, it seems not to be handle enough via some comment I cautgh from internet.
For short, I want to find down the way to produce figure (schematic, block diagram) for my Latex document.

Any comment, suggestion and instruction are apperiate.

regards,

J.H. Park

There is QCad. People said that it is simpler than Auto Cad, but almost a replacement. Then you need to find a DXF to Latex converter.
