scanning library


I just want to ask is there any scanner library (nmap etc) by using which we can easily scan networks in our program?

Not AFAIK, but you can write one using libpcap and friends...

ok, I'm working on libpcap but I don't know how can I use this lib for scanning? can you tell me the name of other friends that you are refering to?

Sorry ilnli, I was referring to the low-level socket/networking libraries.
If you want some more ideas I suggest you have a gander at the source of nmap...
