Saving videos
I have tried 3 different add-ons for Firefox and Seamonkey and can not get any that allow saving of videos from youtube. ??
I can do it in Windows, but am trying to sever the cord to that O.S.

as a matter of fact, although there are browser plugins for this, you can also do this rather handily with VLC
open VLC
under 'media' click 'convert/save'
click on the 'network' tab
paste in the url for the youtube video
(eg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArOI...EgIuNCAJhD9yBA)
click 'convert/save'
pick a 'profile', set a destination file name
click 'start'
sit back, wait, then enjoy
