Saving Streaming Video Program

I was wondering if there's a Linux program like [URL=http://www.hidownload.com]hidownload/URL].

I want to be able to save mms:// & real streams to my hard-drive.

I have DownloaderX, but it's only for ftp & http downloads.

Anyone know of a program?

Thanks.

mplayer / mencoder is what you want. you can either use "mplayer mms://blah -dumpstream" to directly dump it a file, or use mencoder to record and encode it to divx or another nicer format.
