saving bookmarks and mail boxes

Hi
I'm using fedora4 with mozilla and evolution
I want to save the bookmarks and the mailboxes and contact list
for use with XP using mozilla and outlook
my first problem is I can not find mozilla or evolution in the index?
I was planning to find the files save them to another disk then import or cut and past any suggestions?

Index? Do you just mean you can't find the mozilla folder in your directory tree? If that's the case, they're usually in /home/<user>/.mozilla ...notice the '.' before mozilla. This makes it a hidden file. You can show all hidden files by doing an 'ls -a'. The bookmarks and other various mozilla stuff is saved in this directory tree.

hope this helped,

I'm using the search files feature and I can now find mozilla and evolution. As to a bookmark or mailbox file they remain elusive apparently it would be too simple to call a bookmark file a bookmark file so someone could find it

very frustrating :>
anyone have any idea what evolution calls its files that actually hold mail and the address list?

same with mozilla anyone know what they call their bookmark file?

Mozilla calls the bookmarks file "bookmarks.html". As a previous poster mentioned, this is stored in your home directory, under the .mozilla directory. In there is a directory with a random-nonsense name (mine is called ynht62qw.ataraxia). In there, is the bookmarks file, the cookies, and other such similar stuff.

I don't know Evolution.
