Sata Harddrive / Bootloader (fedora4)

Hey all,
Heres the situation. I just bought a computer out of the box with xp home edition. The stock harddrive is SATA. I installed a seperate IDE hardrive where linux Fedora has been installed to. I cant even see the sata harddrive during installation or fstab after installation. Since i cant see it all, is it possible to set up a dual-boot?

Any Suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

If you update the kernel you should be able to see sata drives.
