SAS v8 Problem

I have SAS v8 installed on Windows. Suddenly when I try to open SAS I get "Error: Catalog SASHELP.CORE does not exist FATAL: Unable to initialize the options subsystem." The file core.sas7bcat does not exist under the sashelp folder. Can someone send me this file please?

Thank you.

this appears to be about obscure windows software. This is LinuxQuestions.org, a site for getting help with the Linux operating system, not Microsoft Windows software. the chances of being able to find such a file and impressively slim at the best of times, espically on a site like this. Sounds like you simply have a busted installation or something.
