sarg index.html file problem in all directories(ONE-SHOT,daily, weekly, monthly).
Hi,
Till now I was using sarg-2.2.3.1 version on my RHEL 5.3 server. It was generating bugs in weekly and monthly reports generation. This time I first tested sarg package on my RHEL 5.3 testing server with sarg-2.3.2 version. Now when I browse in ONE-SHOT, daily, weekly and monthly directories, it gives me an error in every directory --- The requested URL /sarg/weekly/index.html was not found on this server. This error I'm getting in ONE-SHOT, daily and monthly also. Is this the problem due to the package not properly installed or what else could be the problem? I downloaded the sarg package from this link: http://pkgs.org/centos-5-rhel-5/flex...86_64.rpm.html Please assist me in figuring out the problem. Will be thankful to you guys. |

You don't say how you updated sarg, but chances are you over-wrote the sarg config, so things aren't where you expect them anymore. Restore your config from backups, or look for a .rpmsave file if you updated with the "rpm -u" command. And, as you're very fond of posting...check Google, and you will find answers. |

Hi TBOne,
The problem has been solved. The problem was, when I executed this command mentioned below: Code:
# sarg -n -d 06/04/2012-06/04/2012 -x -z -l /var/log/squid/access.log I found the image and all other images in /etc/sarg/fonts/ directory and copied fonts folder in /usr/share/sarg directory and again I tested by executing the above command and it worked for now. |

I asked can you please post the link here? |
I was curious about this location-of-sarg-pkg qn, so I went to Redhat (I do have an acct) and looked at
Code:
https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/channels/PackageListSubmit.do?cid=6957 Code:
https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/channels/PackageListSubmit.do?cid=10486 Had a google; all refs I found use a non RH repo, mostly rpmforge ... |
chrism01,
Exactly, I also searched on redhat website couple of months ago and there is no sarg package available. Well, for now I'm using the package mentioned on link in my first post. And the issue has been resolved already. The solution is in post no. 4. |
