Same NFS share mounted twice on same destination path

Hi everyone,

I got single NFS share mounted twice on same destination
mountpoint on same host.
It is like

I have services running top of it. Can i unmount one of the mount point without disturbing the services. Please help me in this case.

I have never encountered this and cannot give you an authoritative answer, but, if you do a web search for unmount nfs share mounted twice I think you will find some helpful information.

This article, in particular, looks as if it might be helpful.

I did once have the same drive mounted twice on two different mount points without knowing it. Fortunately, I had backups . . . .

How do you know it mounted twice? By the way, I would detach (umount) it completely and mount it again correctly. Yes, and don't forget to check filesystem.

would be nice to post the output of df.
you can use the command fuser to find the process which uses the filesystem. You have to move out from the filesystem (cd / for example) if you wish to umount
