Samba XP shares: Only first 36 folder visible in Konqueror

When I browse my Samba shares in Mepis, I can only see the first 36 folders/directories on a drive of my WinXP box. It is as if all the directories on the drive starting with the letters h-z do not exist. The sharing permissions on XP are the same across the drive, so I don't understand why Mepis can see some directories but not others. Any ideas?

Oh, a word of warning: I'm a complete Linux newbie, so please go gentle!

Sugna, it seems you have the same problem as burnt_toast describes in this thread. It isn't solved yet, but it sounds very similar... Maybe there will be an answer for the both of you... I don't have one (yet)....
