Samba -> WIn XP file share issue

Hi Guys

I have a little issue connecting my Mandrake 9.0 box to any of my Win XP Pro shares. Windows XP can see and use all shares on the Linux box. However Linux is unable to read any files or directories on my XP machines using file manager or nautilus.

I am able to share my XP printer and successfully connect and navigate to my XP machine using smbclient //<<host>>/<<share>> <<pw>> -U <<user>> but unable to do so in either file manager or nautilus. Nautilus however will resolve host names, were as file manager will only see ip addresses.

While logging in using smbclient i do get an error 'Unknown parameter encountered: "ldap ssl" '. I am unsure if this has anything to do with the above issue.

Samba is also set up to be the master browser and works fine in this role.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
