samba volume serial number differ on windows xp machines on the network

I have a problem using ubuntu samba server 3., when I map a network drive using "net use x: \\samba_server\share" I receive two different volume serial numbers on my windows XP machine, when I type command "dir x:" in windows xp command prompt. Does enyone have a solution for this problem?

Thanks for your answers.
