Samba shared PDF printer - driver issue
Hi everybody, here is my situation: in my office network I created a virtual PDF printer (basically it's a script that converts the input file in a PDF) shared with Samba between all the PCs: the Linux and WinXp hosts have no problems, I used the Apple Postscript Printer driver and they can use the printer smoothly. In Win7, as you probably know, the Apple drivers have been removed, so I searched for alternative PostScript drivers; the most frequent suggestion I found is to use HP Color LaserJet 2800 Series PS, so I added the new printer using those drivers: the printing job ends normally, but the PDF file produced is wrong, I always receive a blank page followed by another page containing these lines:
