SAMBA share on an XP station

Hi all,

I have a SAMBA PDC setup with 5 XP (4 pro, 1 Home) clients.

I wish to use a drive on an XP client as a share through samba for the other clients on the network.

Can this be done?

just share in windows

You don't need to share this drive via samba, just share it in windows and the other clients will be able to connect to it.

Normally this would be fine but a PC's is running XP Home and the share is on that machine.

It is out of the question to move the share to another machine, or upgrade to XP Pro.

XP Home only allows a few machines to connect to a share at a time so I though mounting the share on SAMBA, this flaw would be circumvented.
