Samba - Roaming profile problem
Hi,
I have Samba 2.2 running on debian. I will use roaming profile. When I logoff from a windows client I always got the error. Windows cannot update your roaming profile - There is not enough space on the disk. But if I have a look on the disk I only use 15% of the 2 GB I have available for this. anyone an idea. Many thanks, Wim |
write permissions on the directory the profiles are stored in may nto be set.

Thanks for your reply. But that isn't the problem. Anyone who had the same problem?

Windows cannot update your roaming profile
Please paste the share and global sections of your /etc/samba/smb.conf file in a message. a good way to generate this is at a console prompt ($) type:
$ testparm > myconfig.info; ls -lA /your/shared/folder >> myconfig.info; ls -lA /your/shared/folder/ >> myconfig.info Now open myconfig.info and copy and paste it into the message and post it here so we can have a look at your config and what permissions you have set on them. Also the owner and group permissions of your /home/samba/profiles folder is important. George |
