Samba Problems

I am accessing windows xp shares through samba. I mounted the folder using smbmount //computer/file /local. I can access the folder and the folders inside, but when I open a folder with many files it wont list the files. I can open a folders that have about 20 file, but when I open a folder with about 50 or more files it doesnt work. The file will open but there will be nothing in it. If anyone knows why this is or if there is a way around it please tell me.

Thanks
Jason

found the problem. I had to share the folders inside the shared folder.

That sounds like a work-around. If it matters, that's not normal.
