Unhappy Samba PDC problem

Hello Prof's.

I am running SAMBA server on RedHat-9. Every thing is working fine .All users and machines are working gr8.Thr are few machines running with W2k and WXP. Most of the users are with Win 98.
Every one can browse every one with smb user names created on Linux Box(My PC).
There is only one problem i.e I am unable to browse W2k and Xp Machines without passwd and username. When ever Browse win2k/Xp machine , first of all it takes a lot of time. secondly , it present me a window with user name and passwd. I used to supply smbuser/passwd of the persone who uses that machines,Even if I log in with root on my machine ,it does not allow me to browse those pcs with out thr smbuser names/passwd.
I can browse Win98 machines with out any tension.
Help me in this regard. Thanks in advance.
