samba on lucid after recent update


Hi folks,
Followed this http://reformedmusings.wordpress.com...cid-10-04-lts/

And all was fine. yesterday, I notced I had not updated things for awhile.

Now I just get the windows network icon, and nothing within

Please advise me on any other info you need, and where to find it

Well I got it going briefly now this

root@tux:~# sudo restart smbd
smbd start/running, process 5100
root@tux:~# sudo restart smbd
smbd start/running, process 5161
root@tux:~# smbclient -L localhost
Enter root's password:
Domain=[WORKGROUP] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.4.7]
Server requested LANMAN password (share-level security) but 'client lanman auth' is disabled
tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
root@tux:~# smbclient -L 10.0.0.2
Enter root's password:
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
root@tux:~# smbclient -L 10.0.0.3
Enter root's password:
Domain=[WORKGROUP] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.4.7]
Server requested LANMAN password (share-level security) but 'client lanman auth' is disabled

root@tux:~# smbclient -L 10.0.0.4

root@tux:~# sudo restart smbd
