Samba log question
I have a question about loggin options in samba. I have a user who transferred files from his Windows box to my linux samba server and he got some errors while doing so. Is there a way to get a listing of the files that are transferred and whether or not there was a problem? I haven't tried increasing the debug level, but I haven't seen anything anywhere that says that will give such a list. Thanks for the help.

It should be in /var/log/samba.

I've checked those files, and they mainly show that the user logged on and not much else. I checked the smb.conf file and saw that it was set at debug level 0, which I can't imagine would tell a whole lot. I changed it to 3, so I'll see if that makes a difference. I've looked around to find out what each debug level includes, but most of what I found only said to not go above 3 or else the files would be really big. If I find anything out, I'll post here.
