samba help

Hi I have a linux red hat 9.0 machine, and two windows 2000 and one xp pro machine. Samba used to work and network the computers share files. For some reason it doesn't anymore. It gives me this message that says

"couldn't display smb://, because nautilus cannot contact the smb master browser.
check that the smb server is running in the local network."

Ok, us non-mensa types don't understand so if anyone does...please help.

Try adding or uncommenting:
local master = yes
os level = 65
preferred master = yes
