Samba: Change Linux box Computer Name

I edited the smb.conf file to say

# 1. Server Naming Options:

workgroup = Workgroup

netbios name = Linux Box

but the linux computer still shows up as Samba 2.2.8 (Linux Box)

How can i change this???

Edit: the netbios name used to say "netbios name = Samba %v"

Restart samba the wait a minute or two for the master browser to pickup the new name.

In the global share, you can edit the server string option.

i tried changeing the server string to Linux Box, i also had the netbios name set to Linux Box but it still had Samba 2.2.8 in the computer name

nevermind.... i figured it out, there was a second smb.conf file with the setting set to Samba 2.2.8, so i changed it and now it says what i want... thanks guys keep up the good work
