Samba account

I don't know if this is the right forum: Samba is software,
but is related to networking... anyway...

I have a PC with Linux and another one with Win 98, connected
by a twisted pair cable (home network)...

How can I configure the access to the network for Samba?

I have 1 domain and only two users. It is better to use

security = SHARE

security = USER

And, if it is correct to choice USER, I think I must set up the
same users on both the Linux and Win 98 PC?

Can you suggest some examples and docs?

In most cases you don't need to setup the user in Windows as well, when you create the user on the Linux machine for Windows to access, it will just prompt for the username and password.
