samba

I have been sharing a folder from a windows XP computer to my Linux (Redhat 9 Gnome GUI) by using the smbmount command
just recently i get this error

[root@internet root]# smbmount //INFOTECH2/Music /mnt/MEHS/INFOTECH2/Music
timeout connecting to 10.17.11.152:139
Error connecting to 10.17.11.152 (Operation already in progress)
3730: Connection to INFOTECH2 failed
SMB connection failed

I dont see how it is alredy in progress, i unmounted it, i have rebooted, i even ping this machine 10.17.10.152 anymore. Nothing that i know of has changed on the XP machine, its on and running correctly and other Windows computers can see and share this folder, but now i cant for some reason.

anyone know what to do?
