running virtual network connection

hello,

i followed a tutorial for vnc which was pretty popular. i have tightVNC installed on my mandrake box and can connect to my win2k machine on my network with no problems. but for some reason i dont have "Virtual Network Connection" in my kde menu anywhere. i see it on other drake machines just under tightvnc but not on mine.

i want to be able to connect to this linx box from my windoze machine obviously.

i can run "vncserver" from the cli and it asks me for a password, and creates a startup script. theres not much to the script but i need the gui. can anyone give me some advice? thanks in advance.

After starting vncserver from the cli, have you tried connecting with tightvnc from the win box?
