Unhappy Running third party application after installing(New to linux)

I am new to linux.i am using red hat linux 9.0.I have installed some software like yahoo messenger and kopete messenger,I have theres in rpm format.
I have installed it on command line and it is installed.Now i do'nt know where from i can run there applicaion.Mean after installing yahoo messenger where should i run that.
Plz help me
