running screensaver as background
So I heard that Linux can run a screensaver as your desktop wallpaper. How would I go about doing this?
Thanks.

You can do this with KDE in the background widget of the kde control center.

depending on your distro, mine is mandrake 9.1 so I would do this...
/usr/X11R6/lib/xscreensaver/endgame -root
i've only tried in fluxbox though.

Hey, I use that code, and it does that, but only on an X background (like if I JUST have xserver running), so if I use GNOME or KDE, that just goes on top of it.
How can I get it to work in GNOME or KDE.
Thanks.
