Running linux binaries on windows

Hi,

I would like to run my linux binaries on windows, is there a converter for it?
For example, like eggdrop (if somebody knows what I mean). You see I like to make a C-GTK utility, but I don't know how to let it run on windows.

I'm sorry if I'm asking it in the wrong section, but thought this should be the best one

Hopefully you peole can help me with this problem
Btw, I don't want to use cygwin (except if cygwin has a convert that makes a .exe file ot it, then it's OK)

Greetz,
AliTriX

There is no "converter".
You can however get windows versions of most programs from their authors (I believe there is a windows version of eggdrop).
And with cygwin you can make windows binaries from linux source code (most of the time) so you can view it as a kind-of converter.
