Running lg3d in session mode

Hi all, I'm quite newbie but I like 3d graphics and I want to run lg3d (Java looking glass project) in session mode, like a kde or gnome.

I tried this on my laptop where I have a well configured video card (radeon 9700) with 3d accereleration correctly enabled (I can play well to UT2004.. ecc).

I installed all required to run lg3d, but when I shut down the X server to run

lg3d-session

the x server returns me this message:

Fatal server error:
Cannot run in framebuffer mode. Please specify busIDs for all framebuffer devices.

I feel it's an X problem.

Can you help me? I already tried with adding

BusID "PCI:1:0:1" to my xf86 config witch no success.

My distro is a mandrake 10.0 official with standard kernel.
Thanks!
