Running Kaffeine and XMMS at same time

When I run XMMS then try to run any KDE app that requires sound, I get a "CAN'T INIT AUDIO DRIVER [AUTO]" error from the KDE app. If I run Kaffeine alone or start Kaffeine first then run XMMS everything works fine.

Is this a known problem? How do I fix it?

If it matters, I'm running Arch 0.6 with XFCE4. All my software in the current versions of everything.

Thanks in advance,
