Running Irc behind squid2.5 stable

I am running Squid on a fedoracore3. I would like to connect my IRC client to the internet frome another linux box through a proxy running on my fedora. All the client side proxy configurations fail to connect. I use the default configuration for squid. Newbie here...please help me. Steven |

Can anyone guide me in squid In my office we want to block some particular Adult sites. And also want to set download limit And we have 2 subnet 255.255.255.0 and 255.255.240.0. I want to implement the above said items to both the subnets.. I have installed fedora and squid2.5 The following configurations i have done http_port 3128 acl test src http_access allow test ( if i deny all the users are not able to browse) http_access allow local_host attp_access deny all Then i configured the ip address and port number in the internet options -> connections -> Lan settings -> proxy settings. Kindly help how to configure download limitation settings And how to block Adult sites... Please |
